Solution Overview

CamConnect 200 is an important development in AV automation. Cost-effective and requiring no user input, it adapts instantly to different room layouts and meeting formats.

CamConnect 200 combines Lumens’ AI-Box1, PTZ cameras, BC-200 analysis cameras, and compatible ceiling microphones to deliver highly accurate speaker tracking and seamless multi-camera switching.

By integrating both visual analysis and audio positioning data, CamConnect 200 significantly improves tracking precision and system reliability, with no reliance on camera presets.

 

Where can it be used?

Traditional voice tracking systems rely on audio location data and lack visual verification. In environments with background noise or sound reflections, this can lead to inaccurate camera switching.

CamConnect 200 is ideal for spaces where participants move or stand making preset-based camera positions impractical. Its new Preset-Free mode combines microphone array voice coordinates with and real-time human detection from the BC-200, significantly improving tracking accuracy.

There is no need to configure fixed camera presets for each seat. Nor is there a requirement for profiles for different room layouts - the system automatically recognizes any changes in seating arrangements.
