How it works

The Lumens VC-TR60A camera features built-in voice detection, enabling it to automatically frame the active presenter. When two or more VC-TR60A cameras are installed, the system can intelligently follow a conversation between multiple guests.

Working in tandem with the OIP-N60D, the system seamlessly switches camera to highlight the active speaker and the follow the flow of the discussion. This makes the video far more engaging for remote guests, encouraging greater interaction between delegates.

This voice-based camera switching solution is ideal for hybrid meetings, podcasts, training environments, and multi-speaker discussions. Unlike systems that depend on integration with ceiling microphone systems, VoiceConnect has the agility and speed of set-up to be used multi-purpose meeting spaces, multi-function training areas and in podcast studios.
 

Installation and Integration

VoiceConnect is a modular system, built around the IP-based OIP-N60D decoder. This unit integrates with up-to four VC-TR60A PTZ cameras that can be installed anywhere on the local area network (LAN). AI-based, the solution runs autonomously, with the decoder outputting a Teams and Zoom-compliant video and audio streams to a BYOD laptop over USB-C.
