Lumens^® Digital Optics Inc., a Pegatron Group company, is a leader in optical products. Lumens’ product offerings include CamConnect Pro, HD and 4K PTZ cameras, auto-tracking and auto-framing cameras, media processors, IP transmitters and decoders and document cameras. Founded in 1998, the company was created by a team with a deep technological heritage of image processing, video electronics, and optical technology. With the support of the Pegatron Group, Lumens is continuously improving product designs to be used in video studios, live events, classrooms, conference rooms, and for distance learning.

The company’s global headquarters are in Hsinchu, Taiwan. With manufacturing facilities in China and Taiwan, Lumens has also additional branch offices located in the United States and Belgium. Independent sales representatives in the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, India, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam further enhance the company’s international operations. Finally, shipping warehouses in the United States and Netherlands serve to shorten product delivery time. All in all, Lumens has established more than 100 sites in 44 countries around the world.

Declaration of Minerals Conflict-Free

Lumens' procurement policy for conflict minerals is to prohibit the use of conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo and its surrounding countries and regions, and fulfill Lumens' corporate social responsibility.

The serious human rights and environmental problems caused by the mining of rare metals such as cassiterite, wolframite, coltan and gold in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its surrounding countries and regions make the ore resources produced in these regions known as "Conflict minerals", and these metals may be used in information and communication technology products.

Lumens has incorporated conflict-free-minerals into its supplier management policy, based on RBA specifications to exclude the use of raw materials from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Suppliers are required to sign the supplier's statement on the prohibition of conflict minerals, promising and supporting not to purchase any conflict metals.

We also require suppliers to proactively update the content and version of the CFSI Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CFSI CMRT) to confirm that the conflict mineral smelters that they cooperate with meet the request for DRC Conflict-Free.
