CamConnect Zone Mode

Speaker tracking depends on the ability to pinpoint the location of voices in any given space. With CamConnect Pro’s Zone Mode, users can accurately map an entire space, using the advanced directional capabilities of selected ceiling microphones. By dividing the room into user-defined zones, CamConnect delivers smooth, immersive and reliable results with virtually any style of room layout and every type of meeting.

Designed for meeting rooms, lecture halls and boardrooms, CamConnect Pro is a multi-angle auto-switching processor that controls up to four Lumens IP cameras. It automatically selects the best camera angle enabling remote participants to engage with the current speaker.

Zone Mode is especially useful in spaces where people sit close together or in multiple rows. When the microphone reports the speaker’s location (X/Y position), CamConnect  immediately triggers a camera to capture that zone, with no user input required.

Zone Mode supports the installation of single or dual ceiling microphones. The use of two microphones provides accurate room mapping in larger meeting spaces.
