Introducing ATEN Control
The ATEN Control System is an Ethernet-based management system consisting of controllers, expansion units, configurator and control interfaces. It connects Lumens and third-party hardware devices (such as audio devices, lighting and matrix switches) to deliver effortless centralized device control. Suitable for use in a single room or across a large facility, ATEN’s emphasis is on productivity and usability.
With ATEN, users no longer have to manage and control multiple devices, each with their own interface. The collaboration between ATEN and Lumens delivers:

Control Platforms
ATEN controllers serve as a central control platform which connects all hardware devices. Expansion Boxes provide additional serial, IR, and relay ports to dynamically scale your installation. An extensive database of device drivers, and support for popular control standards and protocols means that integration with Lumens technology is seamless.
With ATEN, users can easily set up and customize control patterns without any programming knowledge. Devices interact and respond to each other intelligently through pre-programmed actions to perform a fully automated series of advanced operations. Equipment status is synchronized in real-time across all control interfaces, enabling conflict-free control among multiple users simultaneously.
Leveraging Lumens AI camera data, the ATEN control system automates display content switching in meeting and training spaces and can also automatically power down equipment for enhanced energy efficiency, removing the need for manual intervention.
Control in the Real World
ATEN takes the mystery out of device control, whether it’s in conference halls, classrooms, meeting spaces, boardrooms or presentation areas. Its intuitive control interface runs on dedicated touchscreens, mobile devices (iOS or Android) and Windows computers. This reduces the impact on the AV support team and empowers users to maximize productivity.
Integration with ATEN AV Technology
Lumens supports other AV products in the ATEN portfolio including its room booking system, wireless presentation technology and video matrix solutions. These enhance the usability of meeting and training spaces and integrate with Lumens products to streamline the AV experience.

Route and switch sources and outputs by controlling Lumens OIP-N encoders, decoders and transcoders. Easily manage AV over IP networks and BYOD video conferencing spaces.
• Multi-channel Processors
Trigger lecture capture and live event streaming by controlling Lumens CaptureVision series. Switch video layouts and recall camera positions with ease.
• Voice Tracking Processor
Enable end users to activate the system, specify the seating layout, switch profiles to divide a space or to combine multiple rooms.
• IP Cameras
Start AI-based motion-tracking, auto-framing and voice-tracking functions. Activate camera position presets depending on the occupancy of a room or the type of event.
