What is Dante AV-H?
Dante Audio is a watchword for high performance audio networking with thousands of interoperable products in use around the world. Dante AV H now allows video products to become part of the Dante network, benefiting from tight integration with Dante audio and all the familiar Dante management tools.
Lumens' support for the format gives users a powerful new tool for video production, AV distribution, video conferencing and lecture capture. Suitable for use on 1GbE and 10GbE networks, Dante AV-H is interoperable with all Dante-enabled products, making it simple to integrate into the existing AV infrastructure.

- Low latency, high quality video transmission
Dante AV-H is a compressed H.264 and H.265 format which achieves a balance between quality, latency and cost. The result is a 10-50Mb/s 4:2:0 format that achieves low bandwidth, high quality, low latency video transmission. Supporting video up-to 4K 60P, it is particularly suited to use in unified communications, video conferencing, and event recording and streaming.

Residing on a local area network, administrators can employ Audinate apps such as Dante Controller to control Dante AV-H products, including the routing of signals between Lumens cameras, encoders, decoders and any end point.
