Hsinchu, Taiwan, July12, 2026 – Lumens Digital Optics Inc. today announced the LC100A, a powerful dual-channel media processor with advanced real-time annotation for legal and educational environments. Supporting up to four simultaneous users via touchscreens or mice, the LC100A enables judges, attorneys, instructors, students, and presenters to interact directly with shared visual content. Dual HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs provide flexible Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) layouts for clear multi-source presentation.
Designed as an integrated visual collaboration platform, the LC100A enables users to switch and manage video sources, annotate content in real-time, capture snapshots, record high-quality video, and live stream sessions. Its comprehensive annotation toolkit includes freehand drawing, geometric shapes, arrows, and spotlight effects, enabling users to highlight key details during courtroom proceedings, lectures, training sessions, and interactive discussions.
The LC100A supports HDMI, 3G-SDI, RTSP, and USB sources, making it easy to connect cameras, computers, document cameras, and other AV devices. Professional XLR audio input with phantom power ensures clear sound capture, while the built-in 2TB hard drive provides local storage for recording content. An optional external control panel and RS-232 support further simplify operation in installed environments.
“Existing annotation systems are limited to a single user input and are difficult to integrate with playback, recording, switching and streaming systems. We designed LC100A to fulfill all those functions in a single unit. The LC100A enhances visual communication, encourages interaction and provides a full archive not just of annotated images, but also the real-time process of producing the annotations. This is important in judicial and training scenarios where educators, attorneys or witnesses are using diagrams, images or video to illustrate evidence or provide a practical demonstration. Snapshot and video capture preserves annotated frames for documentation and review, while flexible PIP and PBP layouts keep two source materials visible on screen.
