Hsinchu, Taiwan, June 9, 2026 – Lumens Digital Optics Inc. has announced VoiceConnect 100, a voice-activated camera tracking and switching solution designed to bring cost-effective video automation to small and medium-sized meeting rooms. Combining multiple Lumens VC-TR60A PTZ cameras, VoiceConnect enables organizations to create engaging multi-angle meeting experiences over the existing network infrastructure.
In conventional meeting rooms, capturing a clear close-up of each active speaker requires manual camera operation, time-consuming preset configuration or the installation of a fixed position video soundbar with a wide-angle lens. VoiceConnect 100 reduces setup time, eliminates the need for end-user input, and delivers superior viewing angles by using the built-in voice detection and AI tracking capabilities of multiple VC-TR60A cameras. These work together to identify the position of the active speaker, frame the presenter, and switch automatically between camera angles as the conversation moves around the room.
This total automation allows participants to speak naturally while the system selects the most appropriate view in real time. By keeping remote attendees focused on the person speaking, VoiceConnect 100 creates an immersive and professional communication experience for hybrid meetings, training sessions, and round-table discussions.

A key part of the solution, the Lumens OIP-N60D serves as the central bridge between the cameras and unified communications platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. It consolidates IP video streams from the VC-TR60A cameras with Dante microphones and loudspeakers, and transmits standard USB video and audio to a connected BYOD computer.
Unlike many tracking systems, VoiceConnect 100 does not require a ceiling array microphone with voice-positioning capabilities, and there is no need to configure camera presets for individual seats. With VoiceConnect, when a presenter moves across a room, the system automatically and continually tracks delegates within the space.
The solution delivers practical benefits across the meeting room lifecycle. Participants can use the system without installing additional software or learning complicated controls. IT and AV teams benefit from an IP-based architecture that supports centralized monitoring and system updates. System integrators can use the existing network infrastructure to simplify cabling and deployment, while budget owners gain greater flexibility to select suitable audio equipment, reducing overall installation and maintenance costs.
